Children

At Cross Timbers, children are valued. We offer a variety of opportunities for children to learn and grow in Christ. We want kids to hear the Good News of God's Word in a fun, safe environment. Listed below are several of our ministries to children. Our Nursery Ministry is also available during all of our weekly meeting times.

On Sunday mornings  we have graded Sunday School classes for all ages, from age 2 through 4th grade @ 9:30, and grades 4-12 @ 10:45.

During our 10:45 worship service, we offer Wee Worship for 2 and 3 year-olds and Children’s Worship for 4 year-olds through 3rd graders.

On Wednesday nights at 7:00, we offer more options for kids from nursery age through high school. The children are divided into the Bible Buddies, Kingdom Kids, and Conquerors for Christ, where they enjoy a Bible lesson, music, games and a snacks. Children in elementary school also have the opportunity to practice with the Conquerors for Christ children's choir. Our teens, the CTY, have a Bible study and other activities. (see Youth)

On Sunday nights at 6:00, children are invited to sing in the Booster Band and to listen to a Children's Sermon, tailor-made for young ears, as well as participate in the pastor's catechism club after the service.

In addition to these weekly programs, we offer a number of special events throughout the year, including the Fall Kid Fest, Vacation Bible School, Bible Character Night, an Easter Egg Hunt and more. Children at Cross Timbers also attend Cumberland Youth Camp and the Free Will Baptist National Youth Conference.

Come join the excitement as we seek to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ." We can't wait to see you here!
